Are you feeling helpless and upset about the rise of violence in your community? You can do something about it - join our team of dedicated, compassionate women and men who advocate for survivors of rape, sexual violence and domestic violence in 8 hospital emergency departments in Queens and Manhattan.
You bring your compassion and we’ll train you to be a support for survivors of rape, sexual assault and domestic violence.

Volunteers must live in Queens or Manhattan; be at least 21 years of age; attend ALL sessions of the Advocate Training provided by SAVI; comply with medical clearance standards; and, be on-call for at least one shift per month.
