Volunteer Opportunity Details:

New Horizons Band is an adult band that meets twice weekly in the mornings, on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 9am to 12 pm. The group is for ages 50+ and works at a beginner's level. The Adult Band Assistant will assist the teacher with adult students. He/She should also be interested in playing with the band. The Assistant can come one or both mornings a week.

The Adult Band Assistant needs to be able to play a woodwind of brass instrument (trumpet, trombone, sax, clarinet, or flute). The ideal volunteer will come consistently on Monday or Wednesday mornings (or both if they like) for at least one semester.
