Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

Knickerbocker Village NORC is a naturally occurring retirement community. It offers programs to combat depression and isolation and provides services to allow seniors to age in their own homes. The Village is looking for instructors in the following areas to help build the social activities available to keep these seniors active and on the go: drama/acting, arts & crafts, knitting, jewelry making, related activities. Drama/acting Instructors could organize and direct a holiday show! If you have an idea you think would be good, let us know!

Some background and skill in whatever area the volunteer is teaching in is strongly suggested. The ability and desire to work with seniors is a must.
