Many seniors at City Hall Senior Center are hungry to learn the basics of computer use. The Computer Instructor would introduce the computer and its uses to these seniors in a weekly class in the early afternoon. There is a small computer lab of 6 computers. Past volunteers have been able to project their instructions on the wall of the lab and seniors have been very happy to learn the basics of navigating the internet and using email. You can make the class your own, and develop intermediate and advanced classes if you like!
Working knowledge of computers and bilingual in English and Mandarin, and the ability and desire to work with seniors are required. Advanced computer knowledge and experience teaching computers is strongly encouraged.
