Volunteer Opportunity Details: |

The New York City Police Museum prides itself on being a small and friendly museum with superior visitor service. The Visitor Services Volunteer will assist Visitor Services staff in greeting visitors to the museum, handing out floor plans, assisting visitors with questions related to the museum and New York, answering the main telephone at the museum and collecting donations to the museum.
Visitor Services volunteers must have customer service experience; be
comfortable working with diverse audiences of all ages; have the
ability to learn information and apply it strategically; be
able to work independently and collaborate with staff and other volunteers; and have a positive view of law enforcement and NYPD
