Neighborwoods Weekend- Family Forestry Fun

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Saturday October 24th and Sunday October 25th from 10am-1pm
Bring the whole family and join the Friends for a weekend of family forestry fun. Learn about the forest through games, activities, mini hikes, and scavenger hunts. Help care for our trees and even plant your
own. Go home with free give-aways and crafts for the kids. Meet at the Friends Compost Site. Enter the Park at Broadway and Mosholu Avenue. Funded by New York Community Trust and Con Edison.

Volunteers should wear long pants and sneakers, no open toed shoes, and bring water. If you are registering a group please let us know how many since space is limited.
this is great for kids and families, light volunteer work available for younger kids.
