Volunteer Grant Writer will support the work of the Area Offices (in the boroughs and Lower Hudson Valley) and enhance our ability to seek grant funding from Small Businesses, Community and Corporate Foundations & Individual Donors to help us reach our mission targets and revenue goals.

The volunteer will take leads given by Area Office Directors & Assistant Directors for funding opportunities, match them with existing program profiles or develop new ones that can be written for specific grants

Qualifications:
Prior successful grant writing experience
Research experience
Self-motivated team player who can
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not essential
Ability to work from home (optional)

Training/Support:
Volunteer Orientation & Fulfilling Our Mission (4 hours)
Additional training to be provided by department

 Volunteer to help the company that I work for in their annual Harlem day celebration. I gained the the feeling of giving of myself selflessly, without getting anything in return.it created a feeling of joy and accomplishmnent and happiness within me.
