Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are recruiting Mentors for the Eagle Academy in the Bronx and/or Brooklyn.
Mentors will be paired and working with a group of approximately 12 students on one assigned Saturday per month.
Mentors will be divided as follows:
The Bronx upper school (11th and 12th grade), and lower (9th and 10th grade).
Brooklyn Eagle Academy will mentor 6th and 7th grades.
Bronx Mentor Training Date: September 12, 2009 10AM – 12:30pm
Brooklyn Mentor Training Date: October 2, 2009 10AM-12:30PM
Please note mentors at both the Bronx and Brooklyn will fill out an application, go through orientation and be fingerprinted before training.
After training Mentors will meet at Camp Alpine (Boy Scouts) September 26, and be matched with their mentees.
It is our hope that you will contribute to the success of our students. As a mentor you have the opportunity to positively affect the lives of these young men.
