Volunteer Opportunity Details: |

The River Project, a non-profit organization working to preserve the ecosystem of the Hudson River Estuary and NY Harbor through hands-on education and scientific research, is seeking two or three environmental education interns for this fall. Applicants should have an environmental education or ecology background or be interested in learning about marine biology and working with student groups. Primary responsibilities include: assisting the Educator with field trips, as well as assisting with other marine biology projects and administrative work. The intern must be willing to handle live aquatic organisms, be comfortable around children, enthusiastic, and eager to protect our natural resources.
