Join Bailey's Cafe for a day of service at one of the largest community gardens in NYC. Hattie Carthan Community Garden located in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn will be co-hosting a day of service to the earth--harvesting, cleaning, preparing the garden for the fall season.

Everyone is welcome and can work to their ability

Directions:

 The garden is located in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn across from Tompkins (Von King) Park. The closest train is the G to Bedford Nostrand stop. Board near the front of the train and you will come out on the corner of Lafayette and Nostrand..just walk up (direction of the traffic) Lafayette one block to the garden. The B38 runs up Lafayette from downtown Brooklyn.

  Walk distance (in minutes): 5 minutes
  Nearest Bus Stop: B38 to Lafayette and Marcy, 2 minutes minute walk
