Word Of Life International (WOL) provides a safety net for those individuals/families that are poor, homeless, sick or elderly and have little or no food to eat. WOL runs a Community Food Pantry that serves a monthly average of 8,000 household members. It also provides Food Stamp Screening, HIV/AIDS Outreach, Women Infant and Children (WIC) referral, Health Insurance Enrollment, Immigration Services and Youth Enrichment Program.

The Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 3:00PM- 6:00PM; and on Saturday from 4:00PM-6:00 PM and serves over 2,000 household members per week. Clothes are distributed free to clients: men, women and children based on need.

WOL has 24 regular volunteers that assist with the management and operation of the pantry, youth outreach and community outreach services.

Word Of Life International (WOL) is in need of someone with the skill and ability to research and develop proposals to raise funds to support its much needed program services.

The volunteer must be available and capable of writing proposals. Experience in fund raising is a plus.
