Family Programs and Cultural Celebrations plans festival days and celebrations such as the Three Kings Parade, the Day of the Dead, and monthly “Super Sabado” events which include film screenings, poetry readings, concerts and art activities.

Volunteers are needed for the family festivals days and for the prep work and workshops leading to the celebrations. Programs include art making activities, crowd control and cheering in the parade. Volunteers will also need to assist educators and museum staff during festivals.

Bilingual skills, (English, Spanish)is a plus and the ability to work with children/youth is necessary. Volunteers must be cheerful, friendly, outgoing, reliable and flexible with tasks assigned.
