The Creative Time Summit: Revolutions in Public Practice
At the New York Public Library, 42nd Street near 5th Avenue
There are 2 shifts, as follows:
Saturday, Oct. 24th shift 1: 7:30am-2pm
Saturday, Oct 24th shift 2: 1pm-8:30pm
(times subject to change)
Volunteers responsibilities could include:
• Helping with set-up and take-down of tables, AV equipment, chairs, and other supplies
• Helping greet and check-in conference attendees and presenters
• Ushering attendees, presenters, and VIPs to their seats
• Guiding/directing conference attendees and presenters between various rooms in the Library (answering questions and giving directions)
• Assisting with stocking food and amenities, and making sure our guest presenters are happy and taken care of
• Assisting with elements of the run-of-show, including technical set-up, microphones, etc. (no technical knowledge is required)
• Running errands within and outside of the Library as required
• Generally pitching in where needed, being a helping hand to CT and NYPL staff, and a friendly face to conference attendees and presenters on behalf of Creative Time
Friday night will be the presentation of The Leonore Annenberg Prize for Art and Social Change to the Yes Men (check out their latest here: http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/09/22/new.york.fake.newspaper/index.html?iref=newssearch#cnnSTCVideo)
Saturday the Summit will commence and the updated list of participants will include:
