Looking for a way to share your love of reading? Consider volunteering as the Reading Group Facilitator at JASA Van Cortlandt Senior Center in the Bronx! Choose a book that the members of the group are reading, and enjoy the book together! This is a great way to spend time with active seniors in the community while doing something that you love!

JASA (Jewish Association for Services for the Aged) is the largest community based social service agency serving the elderly in the New York area. JASA provides an array of social services to New York area seniors with the mission of enabling the elderly to live independently for as long as possible.

Interested volunteers should possess a love of reading and have an hour or two free each week during the center's hours.
