Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

Cultural Renaissance for Economic Revitalization has maintained a strong partnership with the Bronx Guild H.S. to create mentor/internship opportunities for High School Student who are at risk of dropping out of school. This year CRER launched the YES Project (Youth Engaged in Success). We need mentors who can offer an excellent opportunity for the students who want to learn more about specific careers. This year, we accepted 5 students at the same time to get involved in a Youth Led Cooperative. The students learn Financial Literacy, Business Plan Development, creative writing and video editing and video production. We want to keep the momentum high for the students and would like to have mentors who can offer internship opportunities for these students.

Volunteers should be able to offer off-site internships for the students at a work-site that supports mentor opportunities.
