Get Involved! Every child needs the support of parents, school and community to succeed. Join NYC’s largest volunteer organization dedicated to helping public school children. Our goal is to help students succeed by training volunteers to provide tutoring and other school-based support. Volunteers work with students in pre-K through 5th grade in reading, English as a second language, math and other subjects. Through one-to-one relationships, we help students experience success and develop confidence in their own abilities.
