Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are looking for people to direct or assist with Arts and Crafts workshops for children participating in the Ravenswood II "I Have a Dream" After-school Program. You may bring your own ideas to the program or work with other volunteers and staff to design and implement various projects. You will work with one group of 10-20 students for an hour and then another group of children for the next hour. We prefer Tuesdays, 4:00-6:00, but the day is somewhat flexible.

Applicants should be excited by the opportunity to work with children from the Ravenswood Houses, located in Long Island City, Queens. The more creativity and inspiration you can bring to the table, the better. Previous experience doing artistic projects with children is preferred, but not required.
