Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

Hour Children has added a new program - Mentoring Children of Prisoners. Thousands of children are negatively impacted by a parent’s incarceration. Without a positive adult role model research shows that 70% of those children will themselves become incarcerated at some time in their lives.
No special skills are needed to become a mentor, just a longing to make a positive impact in a child’s life.

Mentors agree to spend 4 hours a month for at least one year. Training and on-going support will be provided.

This opportunity is sponsored by: Hour Children
