If you love history and like museums, why not become a museum educator! We need former teachers to teach school groups about New York City life during the early 19th Century. Museum educators use the building's architecture, furnishings and artifacts to highlight social, economic and technological themes of early 19th Century America. Training is provided. As a benefit, all volunteers get a museum id card entitling them to free admission to most New York City museums.
Volunteers should be able to stand for periods of time and be able to walk up stairs.
This opportunity is sponsored by: Mount Vernon Hotel Museum
