What is iMentor?
iMentor is changing the face of New York City mentoring. iMentor is able to connect working professionals to youth in New York City’s most underserved and low-income communities by capitalizing on a technology-enriched mentoring model that combines weekly email communication with traditional in-person meetings. The result? Each year, thousands of lives are changed when iMentor aligns mentee personal, academic, and career aspirations with mentor work and life experiences, providing mentees with access to new perspectives and opportunities.

Mentoring with iMentor is a meaningful and flexible way to give back to New York City’s young people.

Mentor Commitment is 4-6 hours each month, which includes—
• One substantial email each week
• Regular 2 hour in-person meetings (organized by iMentor)

Mentors must be at least 21 years old, live AND work in the New York City metropolitan area, and commit to a minimum of one year with our program.
