Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

Celebrations Program.
Introduce a tradition of giving as your children celebrate milestone events such as a Birthdays, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Confirmations, Quinceaneras or Graduations.

Children for Children makes it easy to make a difference! Request guests bring monetary donations in lieu of traditional gifts, or cut back on party costs and contribute the difference to help provide supplies for under-resourced NYC schools. 100% of donations will go to providing much-needed resources to struggling NYC schools.

Donate new or gently used books to classrooms either from your own collection or those received by asking for books as a gift.

Create a handmade card to brighten another child's birthday.

Integrating service into a celebration can serve as a catalyst for discussion of others' needs and ways everyone can contribute. The amount or type of the donation is not as important as the idea of consistently sharing celebrations with the greater community.

Send your contribution of money, books and/or cards to Children for Children. When a contribution is received, CFC will send your child a Certificate of Appreciation for caring about and sharing with others. Contact us for more information or ideas.
